ALUMNI MEET ON 17 JULY 2026 FOR B.TECH. (2019–2023), B.TECH. (2020–2024) & MBA (2022–2024) PASSED OUT BATCHES
The Alumni Meet for the B.Tech. (2019–2023), B.Tech. (2020–2024), and MBA (2022–2024) passed out batches was successfully conducted on 17 July 2026 at Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering and Technology, Puducherry. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from alumni, providing a wonderful opportunity for former students to reconnect with their alma mater, faculty members, and friends while reliving their cherished college memories.
The event was conducted under the esteemed blessings of Chairman Shri. B. Ramachandiran and Founder Smt. Radha Ramachandiran. It was further guided by Managing Director Shri. A. R. Rajiv Krishnan and Executive Director Smt. Moushini Rajiv Krishnan. With the continuous support and encouragement of Chief Operating Officer Dr. B. Vidhya, the Alumni Meet was successfully organized, creating a meaningful platform for networking, interaction, and strengthening the relationship between the institution and its alumni.
The programme commenced with a warm introduction highlighting the significance of the Alumni Meet by Ms. Pavithra S., Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, along with her team. This was followed by the Welcome Address delivered by Dr. S. Pradeep Devaneyan, Principal, and Dr. K. B. Jayarraman, Vice Principal, who warmly welcomed the alumni and emphasized the importance of maintaining lifelong connections with the institution and contributing to its future growth.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. N. Balaji, Dean – Academics; Dr. V. Nagaraj, Dean – IQAC; Dr. B. Magimairaj, Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering; Dr. R. Venkedesh, Head, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering; Mr. V. Ganesan, Head, Department of Science and Humanities; Mrs. A. Anitha, Head, Department of MBA; along with all the Teaching and Non-Teaching Faculty members, whose presence added great value to the occasion.
The programme was further enlivened with vibrant cultural performances coordinated by Mrs. P. Sasikala, Assistant Professor, and her team. The music and dance performances created an energetic and nostalgic atmosphere, making the gathering more memorable for the alumni.
An interactive alumni session was one of the major highlights of the event, during which alumni shared their academic experiences, professional achievements, entrepreneurial journeys, and valuable suggestions for the growth and development of the institution. The session inspired the current academic community and strengthened the bond between the alumni and their alma mater.
As a symbol of environmental responsibility and lasting association with the institution, a Tree Plantation Programme was organized by Mr. Devanathan, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering; Mr. L. Selvakumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering; and Mr. V. Karthikeyan, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
As a token of appreciation and remembrance, mementos were presented to the alumni by Mrs. V. Anbukkarasi, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, and Mrs. P. Gandhimathi, Assistant Professor, Department of Science and Humanities, along with their team.
The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Balaji S., Head (In-Charge), Department of Biomedical Engineering and Member Secretary, SVCET Alumni Association, who expressed his sincere gratitude to the Management, Principal, Vice Principal, dignitaries, faculty members, organizing committee, volunteers, and alumni for their wholehearted support and participation in making the Alumni Meet 2026 a grand success.
The Alumni Meet 2026 served as a memorable occasion that strengthened the lifelong relationship between the alumni and Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering and Technology, reaffirming the institution's commitment to nurturing a vibrant and engaged alumni community.
